Ever since the trailer for The Batman was released last year at the first-ever DC FanDome, fans have been waiting for new updates with bated breath. Not just about the Matt Reeves film, but about everything DC-related that WB has kept mum about.
At last, DC Comics has dropped the official launch trailer for this year’s event which will unveil new trailers, first looks, and updates on everything from films and TV shows to comics and games.
This year, DC FanDome will host the live online fan convention on October 16, 2021.
The event will be streaming for free on the DC FanDome official website. With 45 days to go, you can also find a timer on the website with the minutes continuously ticking away.
In a press release, DC has shared what viewers can expect at this year’s FanDome.
Warner Bros. will release new trailers for The Batman and The Flash, with the first look at Black Adam and behind-the-scenes footage of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
HBO Max will also have some heavy hitters and give us the first look at Peacemaker, The Suicide Squad spinoff series. Other previews include DMZ, Titans, and Doom Patrol.
Warner Bros. Animation will reveal Aquaman: King of Atlantis, Young Justice: Phantoms, Batman: Caped Crusader, and a new look at Harley Quinn.
The trailer mentions other titles such as Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Gotham Knights, Batgirl, Batwoman, Superman & Lois, The Batman/Fortnite Crossover, and promises “many more.”
With so much content releasing altogether, it’s a safe bet to assume that the fandom will be buzzing with excitement. And of course, to top it off, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson ends the clip with, “Things will never be the same.”
