Mukuro’s backstory seems darker than I expected. As it turns out, after seeing her stepsister having fun with her own friends, she basically became afraid that she would be abandoned by her sister.
After receiving her powers, her very first act was exactly the same as what she had done to Shido with her adoptive family.
She decided to keep her emotions hidden and live her life alone floating in space after what happened. The episode features Shido being an absolute champion! He was still able to seal Mukuro despite losing his arm. Prior to being thrown by Inverse Tohka, he even received a bonus kiss from her.
The post-credits scene was amazing! I’m glad she’s back! I don’t know what Kurumi is planning, but I fully support whatever she decides.
Considering she has only appeared a couple of times this season, I am ecstatic that she will be the focus of the last arc before the season ends.

Episode 9 Speculations
The next episode will be titled “Nightmare’s Temptation”. The worst spirit will return and attempt to destroy Shido’s life and spirit power. ed
There will be a spine-chilling battle between them. We are all eagerly awaiting the release of the episode in order to see what will happen next.

Episode 8 Recap
As close as Mukuro was to her sister, Mukuro’s hair is so precious to her that she couldn’t relate to people outside of her family and didn’t like them giving attention to other people and, in her mind, ignoring her. Being a withdrawn kid can be challenging at times.
Possibly Reine was trying to gauge how much Kotori actually remembered as she struggled to remember Shido by the way she looked at her? Maybe she did not have the same memory problems as Kotori? Let’s put that discussion on hold for a bit because they have to watch Shido’s date with Mukuro and Inverse Tohka.
Exactly what are Inverse Spirits? It appears that they were originally given the Spirit of Origin’s natural forms, while the forms we’re used to are the “pacified” forms they took when grafted onto a human body or turned human. This is my understanding, at least. I guess the big question is why?
Besides, Mukuro would never stand for Inverse Tohka stealing Shido’s kiss, before even touching her precious hair. And thus begins the CG! Mukuro and CG!Inverse Tohka fight.
“Are you falling for me, Shido?” Yes, even Origami with long hair can be flirty. At least she looks amazing. With her blush, it was obvious she wasn’t only joking with him… long-haired Origami must wish she could spend more time with Shido on some level, even though I’m sure she’s always in the back of Origami’s mind.
Mukuro’s red fighting dress also looked great. Mukuro is definitely not one to mess around, since she and her lover want to live alone in space. I’ve never seen a yandere blow up a planet to live in space with her lover.
Yoshino’s understanding of Shido as a good guy and their ability to rely on him is the one that rallies the spirits to help him. As a result, Mukuro is turning her family against her for forgetting her loved ones after Phantom gave her her powers, which led them to shun her.
Even though what she did was pretty serious, she was a child and didn’t know any better.
Shido even sacrifices his own arm to stop Mukuro, although the shock of hurting him almost turns her in reverse… thankfully Shido understood Mukuro’s circumstance of feeling alone as a child and trying to find happiness in his adoptive family, and told her she would always be a part of his family! as well as Mukuro’s acceptance of Shido’s love is what allows the pair to finally kiss and seal Mukuro.
When spirits get sealed, do they still go naked? The sealing process was like a hallmark, why get rid of that? Shido may no longer be important to Inverse Tohka, but it seems she still cares about our Tohka enough to keep an eye on him.
Mukuro’s hair is fine as is, but if cutting it leads to her moving on to a new life with Shido, perhaps it’s for the best.
What’s going on at the school now that Kurumi has returned? What’s her goal now? Well, I guess we can expect some trouble at the school now.
