Danny Trejo Now Officially in Far Cry 6 with Free Crossover Mission

Far Cry 6 has been climbing the popularity ranks since its release in October. While many have criticized the game for doing the same thing as previous titles in the franchise, others are not looking for anything more. With a vibrant map and a myriad of weapons available to cause chaos, Far Cry 6 has a lot of fun to offer players. Ubisoft has now announced that even more content will be coming to Yara.

Before the official launch of Far Cry 6, it was announced that various Far Cry villains from previous installments would be making a comeback as playable characters in DLC campaigns. 

In addition to these DLC expansions, additional content would also be periodically released for the game as months went on. The latest extra piece of content is now available, and it seems Giancarlo Esposito is no longer the only widely known Hollywood actor in Far Cry 6.

Ubisoft released a video on their YouTube channel highlighting a new mission coming to the game, which will feature Danny Trejo. In November, Ubisoft had accidentally released this mission but patched out their blunder. Players will now have their chance to fully experience the mission, along with other new additions, such as a new vehicle.

Small shots of content like this can help prolong the playability of a game to a great degree. Being so small, they are also much easier to release than full-length campaign DLCs. Ther Vaas Insanity DLC put you in the shoes of one of the most popular villains from the franchise, and others are also currently in the works.

The Stranger Things crossover DLC is another expansion Far Cry 6 fans are eager to try out. Very little is known about it as of now, but it will be interesting to see how Ubisoft can merge the two franchises and if the events in the DLC will relate to the world of Far Cry at some point.

There’s a lot to look forward to for Far Cry 6 players. The upcoming Pagan Min: Control DLC will take players back to the world and the story of Far Cry 4. Pagan Min follows closely behind Vaas on the Far Cry villain scale, and it’s exciting to see such iconic characters once again in the limelight and shown in a different perspective.

Far Cry 6 is the latest insallment in the Far Cry series developed and published by Ubisoft. The game is an open-world, first-person action adventure title, and is set for a 2021 release.

Players will take control of Dani Rojas, a freedom fighting guerrilla, who is trying to overthrow the local dictator Anton Castillo. Far Cry 6 is based on the fictional island of Yara, and has been called the largest map of any Far Cry game yet. Players will have access to a variety of hand-made weapons and local vehicles in their fight against the forces of Castillo.
