Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka), popularly referred to as DanMachi, is an anime based on a light novel series with the same name written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda.
The first season spanning over 13 episodes was launched in April 2015 and became an instant hit. The key success factor was that it didn’t have a particular genre and was a mix of romance, comedy, action and adventure.
Its second season wrapped up in September 2019 and left fans wanting more. They all went over the moon when JC Staff announced season three for the series.
Season Three, titled “Familia Myth” was initially slated to premiere in July 2020 but is now delayed due to the pandemic.
The trailer for the new season was also released on Warner Bros Anime YouTube channel on June 1, 2020.
