3. Episode 8 Recap

Bell stands in front of the rampaging monster with his hands stretched out, trying to protect it. This gains him an audience, and people watch this spectacle from safety as Bell obstructs Loki Familia from killing it.

He claims that it is his catch and follows Wiene as she dashes through the tight Daedalus Streets causing mayhem.

Lyd and other Xenos show up on the scene and keep Loki Familia distracted. But they are no match for the Loki Family and are easily defeated.

However, the strongest Xenos also appears after killing off Dix and overwhelms Loki Familia, though he lost one arm in his fight with Ais.

A member of the Hermes Familia throws smoke bombs and the Xenos makes a run for it.

Meanwhile, Wiene gets caught in a trap of adventurers and is killed off in front of Bell. As Bell grieves for her death, Fels chants a spell and succeeds in resurrecting her.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? or DanMachi, in short, is based on a light novel written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda.

The story takes place in the fictional city of Orario, when gods all came down seeking excitement, limiting their divine powers to perceive and experience hardships that thrive in the lower world. Offering mortals to fight monsters assorted in an underground labyrinth known as Dungeon.

We follow the exploits of Bell Cranel, a 14-year-old solo adventurer under the goddess Hestia. As the only member of the Hestia Familia, He works hard to make ends meet. He looks up to Ais Wallenstein, a famous and powerful swordswoman who once saved his life and with whom he fell in love. 

He is unaware that several other girls, deities, and mortals alike, also develop affections towards him, most notably Hestia herself, as he also gains allies and improves himself with each new challenge he faces.
