DanMachi Season 3 Episode 5: Release Date, Predictions, Watch Online

We are only four episodes in and DanMachi Season 3 has got fans anxious with the Monsters’ and Humans’ coexistence arc.

With Hestia Family getting involved and acting as a catalyst for the process, the 4th episode was packed with surprises and cleared many theories that we had been speculating about.

While we wait for the next episode to see what it has in stock for us, we bring you the updates for the 5th Episode of DanMachi Season 3.

1. Episode 5 Release Date

Episode 5 of the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? anime, titled “Ikelos Familia”, has been released on Friday, Oct 30, 2020.

I. Is DanMachi on break this week?

DanMachi is aired on Japanese television as a weekly series with a new episode coming out every Friday, and the subbed episode of the same is released on Crunchyroll. 

DanMachi is on schedule, and there will be no delay for the 4th episode of the series.

2. Episode 5 Speculations

The next episode is titled “Ikelos Familia,” so we will get to know more about Ikelos and his children. Why they got into the shady business of smuggling monsters and how far their knowledge of intelligent monsters is, a.k.a. Xenos, goes.

In the last episode, we see Lyd saying that he used to be the strongest among Xenos. But recently newcomer has dethroned him and is currently training in the lower levels of Dungeon.

We may also get to know about him in the next episode, but fans speculate that it could be the Minotaur.

3. Episode 4 Recap

I. Welcome Party

Xenos holds a party for Hestia Familia coming to their Hidden Village and shares their dreams of coming to the surface and watching the sunset on the horizon.

But there seemed to be a small group of Xenos that were against the idea of having Humans inside their Hidden Village.

Joining the party a little late, Fels introduces himself. He is a Sage and the only person who managed to successfully gain eternal life, in pursuit of infinite wisdom.

Conveying communications between Ouranos and Xenos is the bulk of duties and he was the one keeping eyes on Bell for the past seven days.

II. Lifecycle of Monsters

One of the biggest questions that struck viewers was how Xenos are born and we got an answer to it in the 4th episode.

Just like Humans, or Lower Beings, as God addresses them, have a life cycle, Monsters do too. When humans die, their spirit returns to Heaven and once again is given life in the Lower World.

Similarly, when Monsters die, their spirit returns to their mother, the Labyrinth, and then in a different form, they are born in the depths of Labyrinth.

II. Ikenos Familia

Weine is made to stay in the Hidden Village, against her will, to keep her safe from Adventurers.

The episode ends with Weine and other Xenos traveling between shelters and on their way, they fall for the bait of bawling their kin and getting kidnapped by Dix Perdix and Ikenos Familia.

5. About DanMachi

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? or DanMachi, in short, is based on a light novel written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. 

The story takes place in the fictional city of Orario, when gods all came down seeking excitement, limiting their divine powers to perceive and experience hardships that thrive on the lower world.

Offering mortals to fight monsters assorted in an underground labyrinth known as Dungeon.

We follow the exploits of Bell Cranel, a 14-year-old solo adventurer under the goddess Hestia. As the only member of the Hestia Familia, He works hard to make ends meet.

He looks up to Ais Wallenstein, a famous and powerful swordswoman who once saved his life and with whom he fell in love. 

He is unaware that several other girls, deities, and mortals alike, also develop affections towards him; most notably Hestia herself, as he also gains allies and improves himself with each new challenge he faces.
