The party goes deeper into the Deep Floors and survives their encounters with multiple monsters in episode 4 of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV titled “Ignis (Flame).”
As Bell and Ryu manage to survive a bit longer as the Skull Sheep back off with its flock, a sliver of hope remains; meanwhile, the rest of the party is venturing further into the cave, and their safety is at constant risk.
The rescue team has finally managed to reach the cave and see the aftermath of the Amphisbaena battle, and automatically assume the death of much of the party. However, their corpses aren’t anywhere to be seen, so they continue searching.

Episode 5 Speculation
Next episode, we will likely see Master Welf finish his workshop, although he will probably be attacked by multiple monsters in the process. The party will be able to hold them off, though, since if Welf dies, they all die.
Bell and Ryu are safe for now, but there’s no way the Skull Sheep back off in their next attack, which will not be alone. They will fight to protect their lives and will likely get last-minute help.

Recap of Episode 4
The episode starts with another flashback into “Lion”’s past, and she interacts with all the other elves and members in the mansion. They have a mission to prepare for, and the Astrea family is ready to take action.
Bell sees a lone Skull Sheep and prepares to attack, even considering letting it go not to provoke its flock. Ryu can rest longer since the sheep back off instead of attacking.
The pit opens up where Amphisbaena once stood, and the rescue team stares at it and tries to deduce what might have happened and whether they were too late to take action. They decide to scale the pit and find out straight.
Our main party continues fighting the monsters of the floor as they are driven to the point of max exhaustion. They begin second-guessing their decision to go down to the 26th floor instead of back up, but they can’t abandon Bell at any cost.
A Kelpie spawns and attacks; they stand no chance against it and immediately flee. Even more, 27th-floor monsters begin spawning as they start trying to figure out whether the dungeon is glitching for whatever reason.
They also encounter another survivor whose entire party was wiped out. The prophecy seems to be approaching even closer as he talks about a vast monster that wipes out teams with a single swipe.
Bell’s survival is also suspected as he is sure he is dead, but the party members cannot believe it and deny it on the spot. The Kelpie and the other monsters catch up, giving them no time to rest.
They eventually reach a dead end and try to rest, recover, and discover what happened to Bell. The adventurer says he didn’t exactly see Bell’s corpse, and thus there’s a possibility that he survived, which we know he did.
Even his teammates have enough faith in him to survive, as no single monster can take him out. A sliver of hope remains, and they decide to travel down further, but much of the party is too exhausted and needs a break.
Welf has a sudden flashback and remembers his mentor’s words; since his flame is running out soon, he needs to do a quick workshop to repair all their tools and continue fighting through the dungeon.
The only way through with their lives intact is to have weapons that work, but this requires the trust of all their teammates in Master Welf. He is confident in his skill, one thing he can be sure of.
They all group around him to protect his work since he can’t be interrupted during his smithing.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon, also known as DanMachi for short, is a Japanese light novel series written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda.
The story follows the exploits of Bell Cranel, a 14-year-old solo adventurer under the Goddess Hestia. As the only member of the Hestia Familia, he works hard every day in the dungeon to make ends meet while seeking to improve himself.
He looks up to Ais Wallenstein, a famous and powerful swordswoman who once saved his life and fell in love with him.
He is unaware that several other girls, deities and mortals alike, also develop affections towards him, most notably Hestia herself. He also gains allies and improves himself with each new challenge he faces.
