DanMachi IV Part 2 Episode 2 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Bell and Ryu fall further into despair in episode 1 of DanMachi titled, “Amphisbaena (A Song of Despair)”.

Critically injured and unable to regroup with their party, Bell hears approaching footsteps and does all he can to try and drag Ryu and exit the cave. The Deep Floors, however, is not so easily forgiving and is starting to mess with his head.

The party faces off against Amphisbaena; without Bell, they could barely muster up the morale to fight. Eventually, their true courage as an adventurer wins over their cowardice, and they manage to fight against the magic beast.

Episode 2 Speculation

The fight against Amphisbaena goes to the party’s win; the next episode will likely show it being properly slain and victory is achieved. However, the same cannot be said for Bell’s case.

A massive beast approaching Bell and Ryu from behind will not face any problems completely obliterating them, considering their current condition. Narratively speaking, it is likely that either reinforcement arrives on time or Bell manages to either turn the fight or manage to stall the monster somehow until help arrives.

Recap of Episode 1

The episode continues in the Deep Floors, an injured Bell on his knees, anticipating yet another monster’s arrival while completely incapacitated for another fight. Meanwhile, the separated party contacts the floor boss, Amphisbaena.

With a fearsome Blue palm attack, the heat in the cave rises to incredibly scorching levels, and it fires attack after attack to cut off all their exits. Completely trapped in the cave, falling debris and crystals cover everything.

While the early respawn of the floor boss is concerning, there is also word that the Juggernaut has moved and could be moving toward the Deep Floors. With broken bones and fatal injuries, Bell and Ryu lie in despair and hopelessness.

The rest of the party has no choice but to face the boss, with all exits wholly covered. Morale is incredibly low, especially without Bell. However, this party is not so weak as to stand down and give up because Bell isn’t there.

They launch their attacks and coordinate with their team to fight the fearsome beast by focusing on its weak points. Aisha Belka uses her incredible mobility and fighting prowess to speed through its attacks and counter with her own, but it gets countered.

The only choice is to get close and attack it directly; the team support gives them stat buffs to increase their durability. All the members launch their respective spells, going all out to have any chance at winning this battle.

Back in town, Hestia reports that Ryu is being considered a suspect in a murder, immediately being refuted by everyone else. However, she has asked for reinforcements since she has a bad gut feeling about the deal.

The monster has caught up to Bell and approaches from behind. Aisha manages to slice through the dragon’s attacks and finally lands a spell as it submerges and then launches a big wave stumbling all the party members.

They begin making formation changes and keeping the dragon busy the whole time. Mikoto uses her skill, Futsu no Mitama, and cages the garden within the range. She goes all out and completely crushes the beast as all the party members take this opportunity to finish it off.

As Daphne gives a quick pep talk to the team healer, they launch an attack once more against the floor boss, now completely healed and in a prime position to fight.
