DanMachi Battle Chronicle – 3D Action RPG Releases In Spring 2023! 

DanMachi, or ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?’, left us all in awe with the recent announcement of ten upcoming projects. These projects are in multiple formats, with four of them still undisclosed. 

Of the six disclosed projects, the action role-playing mobile game is called ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Battle Chronicle’. An exclusive website opened on Thursday, mentioning that it would tentatively be released in spring 2023. 

DanMachi Battle Chronicle is a free-to-play game that would enable players to play as the characters from the franchise like Bell and Hestia in anime-style 3D graphics. Adventure mode would allow them to experience the story and battles. 

Players can customize their party by using ‘Adventurer’, ‘Assist’, and ‘Scene’ cards. The game also includes ‘battle royales’ where other characters are enemies. Another feature includes ‘Autoplay Battles’, where strategy will be the deciding factor for victory.

The anime adaptation of DanMachi is currently in its fourth season, with the second cour to arrive on January 5, 2023. It is based on the light novels by Fujino Omori and Suzuhito Yasuda. The upcoming arc and the game are a part of the tenth anniversary of the series.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon, also known as DanMachi for short, is a Japanese light novel series written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda.

The story follows the exploits of Bell Cranel, a 14-year-old solo adventurer under the Goddess Hestia. As the only member of the Hestia Familia, he works hard every day in the dungeon to make ends meet while seeking to improve himself.

He looks up to Ais Wallenstein, a famous and powerful swordswoman who once saved his life and fell in love with him.

He is unaware that several other girls, deities and mortals alike, also develop affections towards him, most notably Hestia herself. He also gains allies and improves himself with each new challenge he faces.
