There is no break, and Chapter 177 of Dandadan will be released according to the schedule on the above date.
2. Recap of Chapter 176 of Dandadan
Chapter 176 of Dadadan begins with Yukishiro complaining about how her clothes were turned white by the fire extinguisher, and Aira simply dissed her for having a depressing face. In between the chaos, Sakata explained that he made Yukishiro’s hair clip out of nanoskin, so now it can serve as a surveillance camera. This would help them all discover the identity of the person who gave Yukishiro the knife since they’re bound to interact with her again.
After everyone mutually agreed to not interact with Yukishiro until her hairclip served its purpose, Okarun expresses his regret to Momo about the fact that he couldn’t protect her, but she disagrees and quickly suggests that he should train with Seiko to prevent him from getting any more gloomy.
Meanwhile, we got to see Seiko, Momo’s grandmother having a chat with two men at a diner. The man she was talking to seemed to be a passionate cursed object collector, and it was clear that he may be a little too invested in the profession since he was calling the objects “cutie patootie” and other words of endearment. Regardless, Seiko decided to seek his help, and she handed him an eerie box, saying it was the cause of the Renjaku Apartment case, and she was entrusting it to him because she didn’t know anyone who could handle it.

She then proceeded to explain that her granddaughter ended up going into the cursed trunk and got turned into a tiny person. The man she was talking to, named Kashimoto, had apparently researched a lot on “tiny men”, so she pleaded him to tell her anything that could possibly help her turn Momo back to normal. The man said he did know of a way to turn Momo back, and he proceeded to say that Seiko would know better than him about the method.
He explained that the “Uchide-no-Kozuchi” magic hammer that the miniature samurai “Issun Boshi” once swung made him grow bigger, so it should work on Momo, too. He then hinted at the current location of the magic hammer, and Seiko immediately understood (the readers are still in the dark about this).
Seiko thanked Kashimoto for the intel and was going to head out, but amidst their conversation, Kashimoto suddenly got kicked in the face and was sent flying. This is when a hoard of undead was revealed to be in the restaurant. Seiko would have to clear this obstacle before getting to the magic hammer.
3. Speculations for Chapter 177
Chapter 177 will likely focus on the fight between Seiko and the undead men that were introduced at the end of chapter 176. She’s likely going to win since she also has allies with her as well. Seiko has to reach the shrine where the great god Okuninushi is worshipped to get her hands on the magic hammer that can turn Momo back to normal.
Chapter 177 may also feature Yukishiro, and if we’re lucky, we may also get to see the individual who gave her the knife, so that mystery would also get solved.
