Dandadan is one of those Shounen manga that are getting increasingly popular as the days pass. After the release of chapter 171 on the 22nd of October, fans have been getting increasingly impatient.

2. Recap of Chapter 171 of Dandadan
Dandadan Chapter 171 starts with Okarun and Aira trapped in a mysterious classroom as the doors suddenly shut behind them.
Kinta notices the door is closed and assumes Okarun is excluding him. With his powers, Kinta can still feel Okarun and Aira in there. However, when he opens it, he sees a normal class in session, adding to the mystery of their situation.
Momo quickly informs Okarun that they’ve entered Empty Space, which confuses him since he no longer has Turbo Granny’s power.
Okarun finds part of himself fused to a prep table, and Aira activates her Acrobatic Silky form and prepares for battle.
Meanwhile, Momo notices pygmies stitching their garments together. Okarun and Aira can’t see them. Momo uses her psychic abilities to stop the pygmies by severing the fused clothes.
Aira still can’t see the pygmies and blindly attacks them and the pygmies tie Aira’s hair and set it on fire using a prep table burner.
The chapter ends with the trio facing increasing danger, with no clear way out of the alien dimension.
3. Speculation for Chapter 172 of Dandadan
In the next chapter of Dandadan, we can expect Momo to take more decisive action and use her powers as she attempts to save Okarun and Aira from the assault of the naughty pygmies.
With Aira’s hair set on fire and Okarun still partially fused to the table, Momo will have to push her psychic powers to new limits to set them straight,
With Okarun able to reach Empty Space even with the Turbo Granny, some supernatural powers within him may be able to help the gang. We might see the embryo of those powers in the next chapter.

Momo Ayase is a high school student who believes in ghosts, but her classmate Okarun believes in aliens instead. To determine who is correct, they make a bet and decide to visit locations associated with both the occult and the supernatural separately.
Ayase visits places related to ghosts, while Okarun visits sites about aliens. When they reach their respective areas, they discover they are only half-right. It turns out that both aliens and ghosts exist.
