2. Chapter 169 Summary
After the previous chapter left off with Momo temporarily escaping from the wild girl who was searching for her, in chapter 169, we got to see Okarun, who was desperately searching for Momo. As he was hurrying back to the library, he saw Sanjome, who was trying to slow him down. Weirdly enough, Sanjome kept behind Okarun the whole time and pestered him, to try and get any secrets out of him.
When Sanjome presented Okarun with a lot of information, Okarun simply “yielded” to his knowledge and finally managed to shake him off and rushed to the library. There we got to see Momo hiding within Aira’s pocket to stay safe from the maniac girl. After Aira wasted a lot of time having a pointless conversation with Okarun, Momo finally got ticked off and used her powers to bash Okarun with a chair.
After this, we got to see the girl who was hunting Momo again. She was being told by a mysterious voice that she was doing everything wrong. When she admitted that she had no control over her powers, she was told to submit to her powers, not to control them. After this, we saw her getting possessed by more darkness.
3. Chapter 170 Speculations
Especially because of the last scene of chapter 169, the maniac girl is certainly up to no good. We can expect her to be searching desperately for Momo again maniacally. Thankfully, Momo has all her friends to help her, and she stays in the comforts of Aira’s pocket, so she has nothing to worry about.
It is also possible that Okarun and friends may go in search of the girl too, in order to get to the bottom of this mystery and also to try and get Momo back to normal.

Momo Ayase is a high school student who believes in ghosts, but her classmate Okarun believes in aliens instead. To determine who is correct, they make a bet and decide to visit locations associated with both the occult and the supernatural separately.
Ayase visits places related to ghosts, while Okarun visits sites about aliens. When they reach their respective areas, they discover they are only half-right. It turns out that both aliens and ghosts exist.
