The upcoming series Dance Dance Danseur is a ballet-themed anime produced by studio MAPPA. The series revolves around a young boy named Junpei Murao.

The trailer depicts Junpei Murao when he was a child who was captivated by a male ballet dancer during his sister’s recital, which triggered his genuine passion for the art.
In the present day, Junpei happens to meet the beautiful transfer student Miyako Godai, a ballet dancer who invites him to share a dance.
As a result, Junpei’s long-forgotten passion for ballet dancing reignites, and he decides to aim for becoming the world’s best ballet dancer – the Danseur Noble.
The visual portrays Miyako Godai gracefully posing as she finishes her ballet dance while Junpei and Ruō Mori support her from behind.
Dance Dance Danseur’s theme songs have been confirmed:
YUKI will perform the opening theme song titled, “Narihibiku Kagiri” (As Long as it Reverberates). She is known for her work in March comes in like a lion, Honey and Clover, and Kids on the Slope.
Rock band “Hitorie” will perform the ending theme song “Kaze, Hana” (Wind, Flower). They are popularly known for their song in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and 86.

Dance Dance Danseur is a manga by George Asakura who launched it in the Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine in 2015.
Junpei is a boy who loves learning piano and wants to learn ballet. However, his father passed away at an early age and due to prejudices towards dancing, he turned away from it and learned martial arts.
Some years have passed and a new transfer student joins his class. She realizes that Junpei is interested in ballet and invites him to practice together.
