Cygames might be more popular among the gaming community, but its anime shows have started gaining attention too. The company is slowly moving towards solidifying its name in the otaku community, and it has come a long way.
The video game development studio recently gave us an original anime, ‘Akiba Maid War,’ and has already started working on another one.
Cygames launched a website announcing its new original anime, ‘The Marginal Service, ‘ along with a trailer, visual, and more. The anime is slated to debut in 2023, but a release date is yet to be decided.
With some peppy pop tunes as its background score, the video introduces us to the anime’s main characters, who, for some reason, are naked. By the looks of it, the plot might center around an NSFW theme with a hint of comedy.
The main characters are Brian Nightraider, Zeno Stokes, Bolts Dexter, Robin Timbert, Lyra Candeyheart, Cyrus N. Kuca, Theodore Tompson, and a squirrel named Peck Desmond. While the trailer also reveals the main cast, it doesn’t specify which character they’re playing:

The cast lineup looks super attractive and one I always love to see in action. I wish we knew which character they’re playing in this anime.
Coming to the plot, nothing has been revealed about it other than a tagline that says, ‘The explosive debut of a bad new service!’ There’s a good chance it will be a dramatic adult comedy based on the key visual and trailer.
