CD Projekt Red has confirmed previously that Cyberpunk 2077 will receive DLC packs to enhance its gameplay. However, today the popular video developing company revealed that any news about the expansion packs will remain a mystery. Details would be rolled out only when Cyberpunk hits the market.
Discussing Cyberpunk 2077’s seasonal pass and additional packs, Adam Kiciński, CDPR’s joint CEO said
“The initial plan was to do it before release, but after the recent delay, we decided to wait for the release to provide gamers with the game and then start talking about future projects.”
He then proceeded to say that the DLC will hit markets after the release of the game.
As a gaming enthusiast, I cannot wait to venture into the Night City because of what CD Projekt Red said. They claimed that Cyberpunk will have “no less DLC than The Witcher 3.”
I always say that the campaign mode following Geralt’s adventures is only half the experience. DLCs like Blood and Wine & Hearts of Stone add more substance to the game.
From peppy quests to new cosmetics, DLCs enhance the game superbly.
Cyberpunk 2077 DLC pack by CD Projekt Red will release on December 10. It will have new quests alongside many cosmetics. With DLC confirmed to have as much content as The Witcher 3, it will offer a variety of adventures packed with cyber-fun!
Furthermore, Kiciński also believes that Cyberpunk’s multiplayer game might hit the markets in the next year’s first quarter.
He said “It’s a separate dedicated production, a big production. We think about it as a standalone product.”
Followed by “Obviously, it’s not entirely standalone as it comes from the universe of Cyberpunk and is very much related to the concept of singleplayer Cyberpunk”.
Anything else about Cyberpunk 2077’s post-launch plans has not been divulged yet. One will have to wait for the game to release first and then cross their fingers; Hoping CD Projekt Red to disclose their schemes.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release on 10 December.
About Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.
Set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V,” a mercenary in the fictional Californian city known as “Night City,” where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.
