Cyberpunk 2077 is a very buggy game. From visual to gameplay glitches, the RPG, by no means, offers a smooth experience. One bug that has now emerged and encountered by some is terrifying. It makes the main character, headless.
Ever since the game’s release on December 10, the internet has been flooded with the glitches that spoil the dystopian game. Console users had it worst of all.
Now, the latest bug puts Cyberpunk 2077, a first-person game, in a third-person mode. As a result, you will see the protagonist of the story, our beloved V.
However, he will not be pleasing to your eyes. V will be headless like he’s an NPC coming straight out of a classic horror game. All in all, a real eyesore!
The bug occurs due to a camera glitch. When you stop the car after driving and are exiting from it, the camera will get stuck at a third-person POV. As a result, a V with no head walks out of the car. It’s not a sight that Projekt Red will want people to see but you can see the video shared by a player down below:
His body shape will be like that of Aladdin’s genie when the glitch hits. It will elongate at times. The very next moment, it will shorten. Glitches like these make me understand why Projekt Red is willing to give a refund on Cyberpunk 2077.
But the craziness does not end here. Sometimes V’s torso will also vanish into thin air and come back to existence right after. It’s weird to control a player with no upper body but just legs wandering around the streets of Night City.
About Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.
Set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V,” a mercenary in the fictional Californian city known as “Night City,” where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.
