CD Projekt Red had been busy in the last couple of years fixing the issues with its much-awaited Cyberpunk 2077. The game, which was released in an almost unplayable state, especially on older consoles, has now converted into an amazing experience. The story, combat, visual, and overall gameplay are now highly praised among players.
Hence, developers finally decided to step on the gas with their expansion plans. A DLC expansion was mentioned a few weeks ago, with some rumors about it circulating since then. Fans couldn’t wait to see more, and it looks like we have finally gotten something.
An Official Teaser trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is now out, marking the first expansion the game will receive. Moreover, the channel responded to a fan that this will be the one and only expansion Cyberpunk 2077 will receive.
Although fans can’t wait to get back with V and Johny, the news of Phantom Liberty being the only DLC is sure to disappoint many. Particularly because CD Projekt Red has brought to us mind-blowing DLCs before with The Witcher 3. “Hearts of Stone” and “Blood and Wine” were and still are one of the best additions to any game out there.
Coming back to the DLC, the story takes place before the end of Cyberpunk 2077’s main narrative, with V making some sort of deal with a mysterious figure. Moreover, there will be a change in scenery as the story takes place in an all-new district.
I, V, do solemnly swear that I shall faithfully serve the New United States of America. Get ready for Phantom Liberty — a spy-thriller expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 set in an all new district of Night City.

Not much else is known about the expansion, apart from the fact that it will be arriving sometime in 2023.
About Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.
Set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V,” a mercenary in the fictional Californian city known as “Night City,” where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.
