Cyberpunk 2077 is a culturally significant game. The hype it had amassed at the time of release is highly commendable for a video game to say the least. The upcoming Phantom Liberty DLC packs a massive overhaul, and everyone is beyond excited. Luckily, the DLC is available to a few select fans for early access.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC will allow players to fully respec their characters, including redistributing character attributes, resetting perks, and revamping their characters from scratch. All this can be done without restarting the game.
The freedom to customize characters is widely popular amongst gamers. Just like Starfield, Cyberpunk 2077 will also allow players to change their character in-game. As expected, this news has been a huge hit with the community.
Phantom Liberty will also feature new and exciting locations in Night City and more routes in the Badlands, according to early access players. It looks like the Cyberpunk 2077 map is also getting major improvements.
Apart from these important changes, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will also feature minor tweaks such as NPCs noticing your characters and more. There’s also a new animation which shows V in pain as they leave Ripperdoc. You can also queue up multiple hacks at once instead of repeating it over and over again.
Although these new features sound thrilling, we must not get our hopes too high. Players are reminded once again about the hasty release of Cyberpunk 2077. However, it turned out to be a lesson for everyone as developers were urged to delay their project rather than rushing in.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is scheduled to release on September 26th. Let’s hope CD Projekt Red does not repeat its ghastly mistakes.
About Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.
Set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V,” a mercenary in the fictional Californian city known as “Night City,” where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.
