If you are familiar with the Hoyoverse games, you might know about event wishes and character banners. In Zenless Zone Zero, the character banners are also known as Signal Searches. These banners allow you to get your desired characters, weapons/ W-Engines, and cute, adorable Bangboos (they are the cutest companions).
Zenless Zone Zero banners rotate every 21 days and are the best way to increase your roster. However, to do so, you need to spend your ZZZ Polychromes wisely and must know about the upcoming characters and if they interest you.
1. Current and Upcoming Banners in Zenless Zone Zero
The current banner in Zenless Zone Zero is called Mellow Waveride and features an S-rank character, Ellen, alongside two A-rank characters, Soukaku and Anton. The upcoming banner Unswerving Bullet will feature an S-rank character, Zhu Yuan, alongside two A-rank characters, Ben and Nicole.
2. Current Character Banner Version 1.0
The character banner in version 1.0, phase one, is called Mellow Waveride and features Ellen, an S-rank Ice attacker. The banner also features A-Rank characters Anton (Electric, Attack) and Soukaku (Ice, Support).
This banner ends on July 24, 2024, and a new character banner will be featured afterward.
3. Current W-Engine Banner Version 1.0
The current W-Engine banner, Dissonant Sonata, features the new S-Rank weapon, Deep Sea Visitor (Attack type, Ellen’s signature weapon).
Bashful Demon (Support) and Drill Rig – Red Axis (Attack) are the two A-rank weapons featured alongside. This banner will also end on July 24, 2024, and a new W-Engine banner will be featured afterward.
4. Upcoming Character Banner Version 1.0
The upcoming character banner, Unswerving Bulletin version 1.0, will be available for 21 days from Wednesday, July 24, 2024.
The banner will feature Zhu Yuan, an S-rank Ether attacker. Alongside Zhu Yuan, two A-rank characters, Ben (Fire, Defense) and Nicole (Ether, Support), will be featured.
5. Upcoming W-Engine Banner Version 1.0
The upcoming W-Engine banner will be available alongside Zhu Yuan’s character banner and will have the same duration as the other banners.
It will feature the new S-Rank weapon, Riot Suppressor Mark VI (Attack type and Zhu Yuan’s signature weapon). The Vault (Support) and the Big Cylinder (Defense) are the two A-rank weapons to be featured in the banner.
6. Upcoming Banners in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.1
There has been no official announcement about the upcoming banners yet. However, Zenless Zone Zero revealed three new characters in the drip marketing post: QingYi, Seth, and Jane Doe.
The format Hoyovese uses to reveal the new characters almost confirms that they will be featured in version 1.1. Their attributes, rarity, and weapons have not been announced, but some reliable leakers revealed that QingYi and Jane Doe would be S-rank characters while Seth would be A-rank.
7. About Zenless Zone Zero
Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play action role-playing game developed and published by HoYoverse. The game was released on Windows, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5 on July 4, 2024.
In Zenless Zone Zero, the player assumes the role of a Proxy (the protagonist known as Wise or Belle), a character who helps others explore the hostile alternate dimensions called Hollows. As they advance, the Proxy will recruit new members to their party as they continue fighting Ethereal and other enemies. In addition to the Proxy, players also use assistants known as Bangboos.
