Based on Okina Baba’s 2015 light novel series, So I’m a Spider, So What? quickly gained popularity and was adapted into a manga. It is now a soon to be released anime.
Crunchyroll has released a special 10 minutes preview video of the first episode.
The preview was launched on Saturday, January 2 at 9:00am PST, and will be available for a whole week. So I’m a Spider, So What? will debut on January 8 only on Crunchyroll.
The preview features the first 10 minutes of Episode 1 of So I’m a Spider, So What? where the protagonist Kumoko wakes up to see that she has been reincarnated as a spider.
The visual poster reveals the characters we expect to see in the anime adaptation like Shun, Katia, and Hugo.
So I’m a Spider, So What? is a Crunchyroll Original anime that will be released in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS from January 8th, 2021.
The anime will tell the story of a high school girl who suddenly finds herself in a body of a spider after her death in a freak accident.
Now, in a new world and body she tries her hardest to survive only relying on her wits and making friends along the way.
We can’t wait for the anime release so that we can once again dive into the monster filled Isekai world.

So I’m A Spider, So What? is a light novel series written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryu.
The plot revolves around an average high school girl who is suddenly reborn as a spider in a different world.
Being at the bottom of the food chain, this spider has to do her best to survive despite the odds and the monsters in the dungeon.
