Samurai anime have always been a hit with otakus, and the upcoming series ‘Revenger’ will give us a glimpse of the ronin lifestyle.

This original anime is a collaboration project of Shichiku and Nitroplus and will hopefully have a plot good enough to become a memorable franchise.

While curiosity about the anime is at an all-time high, the latest trailer reveals yet another mysterious character:

The video introduces a white-haired male character with a kind smile, but as we have learned in all this while, cute faces aren’t to be trusted. He might play the underrated second lead in the anime, but he might also turn out to be the main antagonist.

Usui Yuen, the protagonist is a lone samurai who prefers to work alone. He is a master assassin who is made to investigate a chain assasination. He encounters Kurima Raizo who is the lone survivor of the ordeal.

The man in the trailer might be Kurima and if so, both of them will work together to discover the true nature of the attacks.
