If there was an anime about the process of anime-making, wouldn’t that be pretty interesting? The upcoming TV anime ZENSHU by MAPPA is exactly that. Anime is now a global phenomenon. ZENSHU To Stream on Crunchyroll
On the 19th of September, it was announced that MAPPA’s upcoming original anime would be streamed on Crunchyroll. It also announced that the world premiere of the trailer is scheduled to be on the 18th of October. So the release date, or year of this anime is yet to be revealed. The big reveal is said to be at the New York Comic-Con.

The visual for the anime was released quite a while back, on the 22nd of March, when the anime was first announced by MAPPA.
The trailer, too, was released quite a few months ago and featured the main character, Natsuko Hirose, an animator who is actively working to become the best. The trailer is available on MAPPA’s official YouTube channel and on Twitter as well.
What is ZENSHU About?
ZENSHU, in simple words, is an anime about anime. The story revolves around Natsuko Hirose, who starts her job as an animator immediately after graduating high school. Thanks to her hard work, she quickly develops skills and makes her debut as the director of an anime in no time, and her anime becomes an all-time hit as well.
While things have gone smoothly for Natsuko till now, the plot of her next anime movie is a rom-com with the theme of first love. Natsuko, who hasn’t experienced such a thing yet, struggles to understand the concept. To make matters worse, she decides to take all the work on by herself. Her inability to create the storyboard due to her romantic inexperience is delaying the movie production.

When Will ZENSHU Air?
Unfortunately, no information on when the anime will be released is available so far. It is expected that the release date, as well as other information on the anime will be available when the official trailer premieres on the 18th of October at the New York Comic-Con.

Through her dedication and hard work, she quickly honed her skills and soon made her debut as an anime director, with her first project becoming a massive success.
