Just a few days ago, Crunchyroll blew us away by announcing that it will begin streaming 15 ‘Dragon Ball’ movies. The movies will arrive in three batches out of which the first has been out on June 22, and the second arrives in a couple of days.
The movie collection includes all ‘Dragon Ball Z’ titles except ‘Battle of Gods’. For ‘Dragon Ball Super’, the movie ‘Broly’ is in the collection, but the absence of the latest movie ‘Super Hero’ felt disappointing – but not anymore.
On Tuesday, Crunchyroll announced that it will stream ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ movie on July 12. It will be available for viewers in North America, Central America, South America, South Asia, Europe (excl. France), Africa, the Middle East, Oceania, the CIS, Southeast Asia, and East Asia (excl. Japan).
The film is arriving on the platform almost a week after it streams the third batch of films, which include ‘Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F’ and ‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’. It originally opened in Japan in June 2022, followed by a worldwide release, showing the film in 13 dubbed languages and with subtitles in 29 languages.
In the United States, the film became the fourth-highest-grossing film of all time. It collected $96 million in revenue worldwide.
For the upcoming premiere on Crunchyroll, ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ will be available in the following languages:
- English (Sub and Dub)
- German (Sub and Dub)
- French (Sub and Dub)
- Russian (Sub Only)
- Italian (Sub and Dub)
- Arabic (Sub Only)
- Spanish – Latin America (Sub and Dub)
- Spanish – Spain (Sub and Dub)
- Portuguese – Brazil (Sub and Dub)
- Portuguese – Portugal (Sub and Dub)

Fans must have wondered earlier why the movie was not on the platform yet, especially when Crunchyroll distributed it worldwide. Now that the movie is finally arriving, you might be relieved. If you feel like getting spoiled a bit, check out the latest chapters of the ‘Dragon Ball Super’ manga.
