Crunchyroll is known for adding dozens of new English dub versions of fan-favorite anime. Crunchyroll has also been heavily involved in the production of dubs for the past few years now with its partner studios like BangZoom, Studiopolis, Funimation, Ocean, and more.
International audiences have certainly enjoyed these efforts. It also offers a Premium service which allows its paid members to be able to watch the full foreign language dubs for free while free users are limited to the first dub episode of each series.
The Ancient Magus’ Bride dub has been added to Crunchyroll’s dubbed catalog on Thursday. Apart from dubs, Crunchyroll also added Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) anime on Wednesday.

Hana Yori Dango is based on Yoko Kamio’s shōjo romantic comedy manga Boys Over Flowers. Crunchyroll streamed a Korean live-action adaptation of Hana Yori Dango in 2011. The anime roots back to 1996. Taiwan even made a live-action university drama out of this titled Meteor Garden. The TV series also won 47th Television Drama Academy Awards back in 2005, and its season 2 has just ended in December.
On the other hand, The Ancient Magus’ Bride dub is finally here after a long wait. Fans have been waiting since October 2018 for this. Funimation took the dubbed version off its platform last year, which left many fans hanging halfway in the story, so it’s pretty solid news to cheer about.
The official synopsis of the two series is as follows:
