Summertime is here and we are just done with what was left of the spring lineup. The ones going for a second cour like ‘Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts’ are still there and will be a part of the summer lineup now.
Most of the new anime have been out on Crunchyroll already and looks like this season is going to have some unique stories along with some revisits. Although, it is not as hot as the spring lineup, but it will fully satisfy your curiosities.
On Wednesday, Crunchyroll added four more anime to its summer lineup. This includes the new series of Rurouni Kenshin, Shadowverse Flame: Seven Shadows Arc, The Duke of Dead and His Maid Season 2, and Theater of Darkness: Yamishibai Season 11.

Get ready for another round of horror stories as ‘Yamishibai’ returns with more bone-chilling six-minute episodes. Kenji Tsuda returns as the storyteller and the theme of this season’s urban legends will be ‘anew’ or ‘again’.
Overall, the summer lineup is inviting us to try something new this time. This goes well with the current weather calling us to cool our jets. I have been looking forward to ‘Rurouni Kenshin’ as it is a reboot of a classic anime. All and all, this summer looks bright!
