Tsuyoshi learns he has a magical ability, though it is pitifully feeble. Fel makes a protesting Tsuyoshi fight a goblin tribe because he is adamant that fighting is the only way to get better. Despite increasing his fire magic level, Tsuyoshi becomes dizzy and needs Fel to revive him. A priceless magic stone is hidden within the inedible Goblin King that Fel hunts as compensation for his efforts. Tsuyoshi feeds Fel sweets from the online grocery since he is too exhausted to prepare food.
Fel explains that Ninrir, the Wind Goddess, has blessed him, making wind magic his most vital type. Tsuyoshi, who is envious, cries out for any Goddess to bless him. A Goddess in another place genuinely hears his desire. To avoid getting lost, they enter a town to buy a map but discover that because of all the conflicts, precise maps of the entire world are kept as national secrets.
He purchases a map of the kingdoms and their dungeons from several adventurers in a pub for one gold, only to discover by the others at the pub, who laugh at him, that he was scammed because such maps are commonplace items that can be purchased at all guilds for one silver. Tsuyoshi resolves to travel east to a kingdom near the ocean after obtaining a map.
