Coins are the main currency in Astro Bot that every player needs to farm at some point if they are looking to 100% the game. Coins can be used to access different items and upgrade them.
You can also unlock new outfits, customize Dual Speeder, and unlock unique accessories for the bots you rescue through the Gatcha Lab. However, it can only be done using coins. Each Gatcha capsule costs 100 coins, and there are 169 of the prizes. That means you need a ton of coins to get all of them.
1. How to farm coins efficiently in Astro bot?
Players can farm coins efficiently by using any of the following ways in Astro Bot-
- Play the Dude Raiding Stage
- Get Gold boxes in the Final Encore
Coins can be collected multiple times, unlike one-time-only bots. You can earn a lot of coins by playing through all the levels. However, repeating all the areas can become boring and time-consuming. Instead, thoroughly explore them the first time, especially in the early levels.
Also, make sure not to leave any colored boxes unbroken, as they contain a lot of coins. You can also replay missions to earn more coins.
2. Dude Raiding Stage
The first method is to play through the Dude Raiding stage. As you progress through the level, you’ll notice trails of coins leading you to different areas. Not only that, many enemies drop coins when defeated. You can get around 250 coins for every run, which lasts around 2 minutes if you are quick.
Look out for hidden areas and objects that can be broken. Coins are often tucked away in these spots, so explore every nook and cranny. Some parts of the level have specific challenges or mini-games that will reward you with coins once you complete them.
3. Gold boxes in the Final Encore
Another way to collect many coins in Astro Bot is by playing the Final Encore stage. This stage becomes available after you finish the first ten stages of the Lost Galaxy.
To start collecting coins, play through the stage until you find a big gift box containing four gold coin boxes. Break the coin boxes, collect the coins, then pause and restart the stage. You can repeat this process every 90 seconds to get more than 150 coins each time.
To find the big gift box, jump across the platforms until you pass the green slime enemy. You’ll see the big gift box hanging from balloons on your left. Pull the flower petal out of the ground, use it to fly to the gift box, and then pull the cables to reveal the four golden coin boxes.
