One such resource, obsidian, is particularly elusive, as it is found exclusively in a single biome. Yet, due to its numerous applications, it has become an essential asset for every Lego Fortnite player.
1. How to get Obsidian in LEGO Fortnite?
Players can get Obsidian inside the lava caves in the Dry Valley Biome. Players also need the Rare Pickaxe to mine Obsidian.
The lava caves are large rocky formations resembling typical caves. Inside, you’ll find plenty of obsidian, which appears as shiny black rocks protruding from the walls and ceiling. In addition to obsidian, you will also encounter copper and bright core. Be sure to collect these materials, as you will need them later.
You can mine obsidian using the Rare Pickaxe. To craft this pickaxe, you will need Flexwood Rods, which can be obtained from cacti in the desert, and Sandclaws, which you can collect by defeating wolves.
Additionally, players must protect themselves from heat damage when entering the lava caves. Equipping a Cool-Headed Charm or drinking Snowberry Shakes can help alleviate the heat.
2. How to use Obsidian?
Obsidian can be used to make Obsidian Slabs using the Stone Breaker machine.
You can build a Stone Breaker machine by using:
- Knotroot x35
- Marble x25
Once you have the machine, interact with it and select the recipe for Obsidian Slabs. Obsidian Slabs are used to make many different craftable items and weapons. Some of them are:
- Epic Pickaxe
- Rare Hunting Dagger
- Rare Charm of Resilience
