Completing the Lost in Madness Quest in Once Human – Detailed Guide

Lost in Madness is an eerie side quest in Once Human. You can take up this mission in Coastside Plaza, located southeast of the Monolith of Greed in the Dayton Wetlands.

To initiate the mission, light up the red candles on the floor inside the shop named ‘BNMart’ located across from the hospital in the Coastside Plaza.

1. How to complete the Lost in Madness quest in Once Human?

To complete the Lost in Madness quest in Once Human:

• Collect the Cultist’s treasure map from the chest after lighting the candles.
• Interact with the treasure map marked with the location of Believer Colony in Chalk Peak.
• Make your way to the Believer Colony.
• Find the wooden shacks connected with a bridge.
• Enter the second floor of one of the buildings and find the Cultist Treasure chest.
• Open the chest to collect Eclipse Cortex, Energy links, and other loot, and complete the quest.

2. Reading the Cultist Treasure Map and Finding the Location

Once you have collected the Cultist treasure map. Go to your inventory and interact with it. The map will open in a bigger window showing an ‘X‘ mark.

This location is in Believer Colony. Check the map below for the exact location.

This location is at a good height, so it’s better to hop on your motorcycle to reach this area.

3. Finding the Cultist Treasure in Once Human

You will know that you are at the right place once you see a few desolate shacks, containers, a wooden windmill, and a bunch of enemies shooting at you. It is better to take out all the enemies in this area before you begin your treasure hunt.

Once you have gotten rid of them, head across the defined path opposite the wooden windmill. Here you will see two wooden houses connected by a bridge.

Walk up to the second floor of the second house to the right. You will find the Cultist treasure chest here in between two wooden desks. Open it by holding the ‘F’ key on your keyboard.

The chest contains 390x Exp, 100x Energy Links, 105x Battle Pass Exp, 3x Stellar Planula, and 1 Eclipse Cortex Lv.1.

As the chest opens, the quest ‘Lost in Madness’ will be marked completed.
