Complete Avatar: The Last Airbender Filler Guide to Enjoy the Story!

Avatar: The Last Airbender is a completely original animation and technically does not contain any fillers, at least according to its definition. What it does contain are extra episodes that were needed to break away from the serious, plot-heavy episodes and add some comedy.

With a total of 61 episodes, Avatar has only 9 reported fillers comprising a low filler percentage of 14%.

The Avatar fillers portray some of the best character portrayals, like Appa and the humiliation he suffered or Iroh’s pain as he visits his son’s grave. The fillers don’t impart anything on Aang’s journey but give a glimpse of the other side characters.
