Hijacked Map Reportedly Coming to Cold War Season 4

New information from a reliable leaker says Call of Duty Black Ops 2‘s Hijacked map will be coming to Black Ops Cold War Season 4.

TheMW2Ghost, a Call of Duty leaker and data miner, said they are “90% sure Hijacked is coming [to cold war] next season”. As the Tweet is framed like a quote, it may be possible that TheMW2Ghost heard this from another source and trusts it enough to tweet it out.

Hijacked was one of Black Ops 2‘s most popular and loved maps and one of the most requested classic maps in the Call of Duty franchise. Like other popular maps such as Rust or Nuketown, Hijacked is also a close-quarters map, and its small size makes for a much faster-paced match.

But, despite the map’s popularity, Hijacked has appeared only in Black Ops 2, Call of Duty Mobile, and saw a futuristic reskin as Skyjacked in Black Ops 3. It will mark its return to a more modern Call of Duty if it does come to Cold War, even though we still don’t have any info regarding Season 4’s launch.

TheMW2Ghost went on to say that there “should be at least one more surprise random remaster too (like Express)”. The Express map was a random, surprise map added earlier in the year as part of the Black Ops Cold War Reloaded, so it looks like another classic Call of Duty map will be added during Season 4.

There’s a large selection of maps to choose from for the surprise remastered map, including Launch, Carrier, and Radiation, all being talked of as potential maps that players would like to see being added to Cold War.

It was previously rumored that one or two classic maps would be added to the game every season, with TheGhostOfMW claiming that they have reason to believe this season’s maps will be Echelon and Standoff. Standoff is another map that is very highly liked by the Call of Duty community.

If Hijack is added to the game in Season 4, we know it’s going to see many more people logging in to the game. Let’s hope that the player’s wishes are answered, and we get more such classic maps before the next Call of Duty drops.
