Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded was released on July 12th at 5 pm BST UK Time. Players have noticed numerous adjustments to the multiplayer title in this short period.
The game’s most recognizable feature is the perk system. Using the perk system, the players can customize the playstyle to their liking. This includes a variety of perks that can be included in the loadout.
The Ghost perk, which allows players to remain completely undetected by UAVs, heartbeat sensors and even portable radars, was a fan favorite and could hide a player from the opponent’s minimap.
To better balance the perk skills, the developers of Call of Duty: Warzone have nerfed the Ghost perk severely by buffing the Birdseye perk in Season 4: Reloaded. The Birdseye ultimate perk completely counters the effect of the Ghost perk. This means that when a UAV is deployed equipped with the Birdseye perk, players will see the enemies on the tactical map even if they have the Ghost perk equipped.
This change reportedly has been made to fish out the campers and make Call of Duty: Warzone’s gameplay more fast-paced. A part of the fan base, who preferred a more cautious in-game approach, is very disappointed in this move.
Such players would like to analyze their options before jumping into the battlefield. However, this Nerf means the gameplay will be more action-oriented and fast-paced.
Livestreams and competitive Warzone matches will be more enjoyable to watch now. The changelog also mentioned many other upgrades and changes that Season 4: Reloaded brings to Warzone.
This includes The Boys: Temp V Field Upgrades that grants one of the four random superpowers, map updates in the form of new map Vondel, weapon readjustments for better balancing and changes to Warzone Ranked Play.
A bunch of minor bug fixes also accompanied these significant changes. These fixes will make the gameplay more enjoyable and force the players to go out of their comfort zone to formulate new tactics instead of relying on the old ones.
