Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombie mode bug teleports player to death

One of the few redeeming factors about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is its zombie mode. However, players are also facing several hiccups in this mode.

Redditor u/GarryH97 recently shared a bug wherein the player is ousted miles out of the map after killing a few zombies around the Exclusion zone using the Carbon Fate Blueprint. This left them with only ten seconds to return, and as a result, they died.

OP was so angry because they were grinding for the Prestige Mastery challenge and, despite fulfilling the requirements, had to die an unfortunate death because of the bug. It must be kept in mind that the Prestige Mastery Challenge requires the player to hit 250 kills without taking damage.

Despite returning to the combat area within ten seconds, GarryH97 is thrown out of the Exclusion Zone again, making it impossible for them.

This is not the story of one player. Many other users have corroborated that a similar thing has happened to them on multiple instances.

One user, u/McSmokeyDaPot, has revealed a theory wherein Activision actively tries to stop players from getting achievements. It is almost “as if they know” and hamper the player’s ability to get to the achievement.

Such bugs negatively impact the player experience, with many altogether abandoning the game that they paid USD 69.99 to play. The fact that so many bugs remain to date astounds fans, and it can be hoped that Sledgehammer removes these bugs soon.
