Call of Duty fans have been grasping at straws for quite a while now. Recently, the logo for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III was spotted on packaging for Monster Energy drinks. The artwork was also leaked on Twitter a couple of days back.
The official social media handles of Call of Duty have announced that Call of Duty Modern Warfare III will be released on November 10th, 2023, around the same time frame as previous Modern Warfare titles.

The release video is a work of art. Starting with the green and white theme of the previous Modern Warfare titles then there is a swift transition to the blood-red theme that is to come in the new Modern Warfare III.
It briefly shows Captain Price and Makarov. The trailer features the voice of the Boss of Shadow Company, Philip Graves, saying, “Never Bury your enemies alive.”
This is a clear nod towards Philip surviving the events of Modern Warfare II, where he was shown to be dead, being inside a tank. However, his body was never precisely confirmed to be KIA. So, he lives on to tell the tale.
So far, the rumors about #MW3:

– Will feature MW2 2009 MP maps
– Red dots on Mini Map
– Reload Cancel returns
– Slide Cancel returns
– Ninja returns as Perk (Gear)
– Perks will be “Gear”
– War mode will return
– Outbreak Zombies mode pic.twitter.com/IPxqwIc7zQ
The new logo and theme confirm that the leaks were, in fact, accurate about the blood-red theme and the Black Ops III-esque logo. Many Call of Duty hardcore fans pointed out one significant easter egg.
It revolves around the set of numbers that are seen in the first audio wave in the trailer. On texting the number “READY,” followed by several text messages and it says, “We need someone like you, with experience in Al-Mazrah.
When the mysterious number asks if we “can receive sensitive intelligence,” we are given a choice. On typing yes, we get an image of Al-Mazrah’s Zaya Observatory with eight targets.
“No Russian” is a nod to Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s campaign, where a soldier on the plane texts Makarov ready, who replies with “No Russian.” “No Russian” is also what Makarov said before wreaking havoc on a Russian airport and killing civilians in Modern Warfare II.
The marked image could hint at the Modern Warfare III live event in Call of Duty: Warzone. While the credibility of the phone number is unknown, it has sparked a wave of curiosity in the fanbase.
As the release date inches closer, we will learn more about Call of Duty Modern Warfare III and see what lies ahead for the Modern Warfare series.
