Redditor u/Eng11sh posted a thread on the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Subreddit asking what features the community wants, and the highest responses were garnered by “Capture the Flag.” The official Sledgehammer Games account posted an eyes emoji, hinting they could make it happen.

Capture the Flag was introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which, simply put, is a large-scale variant of the original CT, with each team comprising a maximum of 20 players with drivable vehicles and taking place on Battle Maps.

Given that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 always sees a renewal of their playlists now and then, it might not be that far of a shot to expect CTF to come back.

The latest comeback is by the Das Haus map, which has been reworked from its initial appearance in Call of Duty: Vanguard in 2020.

Fans’ Other mode requests include Demolition, One in the Chamber, and Gunfight tournament. Feature requests included Pro Perks, Specialist Kill Streaks, and the original Prestige format.

Modern Warfare 3’s Season 2 Reloaded update released earlier this month introduced Bounty Mode. The TDM-inspired concept adds a twist to the classic mode. The twist is that occasionally, the top-performing player on each team is seen by all teams.

In addition to the March 13^th update that patched some guns and made minor changes, the update launched alongside the Warhammer 40K event, running from March 13^th to March 27^th. Until the game introduces the CTF, players have plenty to train their sights on and kill some zombies.
