Season 2 and 3 of ‘Classroom of the Elite’ Confirmed to Adapt 1st-Year Arc

Season 1 of Classroom of the Elite anime might have deviated from the light novel a bit, but you can’t deny that it still maintained the original flavor. By the end of the season, all the students were knee-deep in trouble with the cruise ship test.

Many fans were left dumbfounded as the season ended without concluding the tests. Well, now you will receive a proper continuation, as both the second and third seasons of the anime have been greenlit.

The Classroom of the Elite anime will receive a second season in July 2022, and the third season will air in 2023. The anime will completely adapt the first-year student arc of the original story by the last episode of season 3.

Both Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the first season of Classroom of the Elite and might also stream the upcoming ones.

Season 2 will show the second half of the special summer test. The cruise ship nightmare isn’t over yet, and students will soon find themselves racking their heads over this devilishly difficult test.

Kiyotaka can be seen posing like an evil mastermind in the new visual, which again reminds me how his character in the anime is different from the light novel.

The staff and cast members from season 1 of the anime will reprise their roles in the upcoming parts. The classes are about to face more trouble in their forthcoming tests because with great eliteness comes great hardships.

About Classroom of the Elite

Originally, Classroom of the Elite was a light novel series written by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsake Tomose. Upon seeing its popularity, Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive began its serialization back in January 2016. The manga was illustrated by Yuyu Ichino.

Later on, in July 2017, Studio Lerche adapted the Light Novel series to an anime series that completed its first season.
