Episode 5 Speculation
In the first half of the fourth episode, Ayanokouji explained that Class 1-D would produce a traitor.
Additionally, he revealed to Suzune that Kushida would be part of a three-person team that would search for Team White classes 1-B and 1-C. It is possible that Kushida was planted as the traitor of Class 1-D by Ayanokouji.
This may cause a mess and make the upcoming adventure interesting to watch.

Episode 5 of Classroom of the Elite season 2 is not on a break this week. The episode will be released as per schedule.
Episode 4 Recap
The teacher of Class D informs students about the upcoming sports festival after the students take an intellectually challenging exam. Students will therefore have more physical education classes in the coming weeks due to the adjustments to the schedules.
They claim the sports festival will greatly impact the class, though their teacher is hesitant to clarify whether it will also be a special exam.
Classes D and A will be paired in the former, while Red and White will be made up of students from different classes. In addition to individual contests, there will be team contests as well.
First-year students in the bottom ten will have ten points deducted from their upcoming written exams, while those in the winning team will receive compensatory points. In what order and for which contest the students will compete is up to them.
As students discussed different scenarios, they agreed that they should participate in contests based on their abilities. Despite Horikita’s agreement, she argues that classes should pair faster and more agile students with someone less athletic so that they can receive a higher overall ranking in group contests.
At the very least, she believes it will ensure the victory of the class. She strongly disagrees with Karuizawa, arguing that her suggestions make no sense.
Based on their class teacher’s statement, Karuizawa is concerned that the whole plan will result in their class losing points, which will lower their chances of winning. Karuizawa’s leadership that takes individual opinions into consideration stands in opposition to Horikita’s competence-based plan.
Karuizawa’s plan eventually gets better support from the class after students vote on the issue. Class D begins training on indoor and outdoor grounds later that day in preparation for the sports festival.
Karuizawa confronts Ayanokouji after the class discussion. He prompted her position against Horikita’s suggestion, as was his request for her to push Kushida for her response.
Ayanokouji doesn’t exactly reveal what is going through his head, but he does admit that he is now convinced that his class can become class A if he works hard.
Ayanokouji decides that to cement their trust, he must tell Karuizawa a little more about the past. Karuizawa is shocked by the bold claim. In other words, he predicts that one of their classmates will be a traitor at the sports festival.
The student will attempt to sabotage everyone else’s efforts by sharing important information about the class. It appears Ayanokouji plans to take down the traitor and lead his class to success despite his reluctance to share anything else.
Students from all the classes were divided into four different groups called planets during the unique exam, which required them to identify the VIP student among them. Various points were assigned according to how students performed in four scenarios.
A simple hint could have made the whole exam a cakewalk for most participants, while most relied on negotiation to get into the best position. Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School organizes most of its tests with some underlying clue or trick that can help students.
As mentioned earlier, students participated in the unique exam in groups named after planets in the solar system. When students’ names were arranged alphabetically, the VIP in Mercury’s team would be the student whose name appeared first.
All other teams were treated the same way. The VIPs’ identities were crystal clear to Ryuuen early on in the exam because he recognized this simple hint.
