Episode 1 of Classroom of the Elite season 2, titled ‘Remember to Keep a Clear Head in Difficult Times,’ features teams named after planets in the solar system including students from different classes.
Having been tasked to cooperate with the ever-present chance of betrayal from each other, they must find a solution to the complicated set of possibilities that arise.
In the meantime, Kiyotaka Ayanokouji learns that one day he will be able to leave the school of his own accord, according to his father’s prediction.

Episode 2 Speculation
I hope that the next episode will be as intense as episode 1. I had a great time with episode 1, and I expect the anime keeps the bar high in the upcoming episodes as well.
As the students learn the game’s rules, they realize that cooperation and trust are essential. The fate of the students ultimately depends on their actions since all participants will leave no opportunity to outwit one another. Since students from different sections are rivals, there is no way for them to outwit one another.
When Team Mars meets for the first time, Ichinose decides to take matters into her own hands. As a way of instilling confidence in the students, she tells them that they should figure out who the VIP is so that everyone wins. There is a difference of opinion among students in class A.
If even one person in the room betrays the team, they argue the decision is suicidal. It is clear that the rest of the team agrees with Ichinose, but due to a disagreement with Class A, they have a halt to their work.
It is understandable that Class A remains skeptical of the team, despite their acceptance of Ichinose’s suggestions, considering the internal policies of the school

Episode 1 Recap
Akane Tachibana reports to Student’s Council President Manabu Horikita after the survival challenge on the isolated island is completed. But he already knows the results, she is surprised.
Kiyotaka’s success so far has left him quite unimpressed and he wonders how he will do in the next challenge. Meanwhile, Kiyotaka is still on the cruise ship with the rest of the students and cannot believe what his father revealed to him.
It is unclear to Kiyotaka why his father could have said that he would choose expulsion on his own someday. He seems to be aware of something his son still does not understand.
While the rest of the students on the cruise ship are having a blast, some of them are having a hard time. Kiyotaka is greeted by Yosuke when he steps out of his room, who invites him to join him and Karuizawa for lunch.
Despite this, Kiyotaka does not feel comfortable with the idea and decides to leave when Karuizawa arrives. The students are informed, however, that the special exam will begin soon, and they have been given instructions via email.
Yukimura and Hayase are already waiting in room 504 when Kiyotaka follows the instructions. Karuizawa joins them soon after.
In the course, students learn that they are divided into eight groups named after planets in the solar system. Kiyotaka is on the Mars team. Each group member must identify the VIP and send an email to the school about it.
Students have plenty of time to come up with a strategy through which they can save their own interests after the initial instructions are given.
Upon learning the game’s rules, the students realize the importance of cooperation and trust. Due to the fact that students from different sections are rivals, it’s safe to say that the fate of the students ultimately depends on them, since they won’t leave any room to outsmart one another.
Ichinose decides to take matters into her own hands when team Mars meets for the first time.
She argues that learning the VIP’s identity will be the best course of action so that everyone will win, and she tries to instill confidence and trust in the students. Class A students disagree, however.
According to them, if even one member of the team betrays the team, the decision would be suicidal. In spite of Ichinose’s agreement with the rest of the team, there is a stalemate because of disagreements with class A, who continues to show mistrust in the team.
About Classroom of the Elite
Originally, Classroom of the Elite was a light novel series written by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsake Tomose. Upon seeing its popularity, Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive began its serialization back in January 2016. The manga was illustrated by Yuyu Ichino.
Later on, in July 2017, Studio Lerche adapted the Light Novel series to an anime series that completed its first season.
