Episode 13 Recap
Ibuki knocked on Ryuuen’s door in episode 13 of Classroom of the Elite season 2. Her attempts to confront him ended in her finding him strolling around the courtyard.
In his phone conversation with Ibuki, Ryuuen said he was responsible for everything that happened last night and asked her to take his points. She kicked him out of anger due to his docile demeanor.
As they sat at the cafe, Sato told Karuizawa about her plans for Christmas. In contrast, the former’s proposal to Kiyotaka caught the latter off guard. As well as wanting to go on a double date, Sato also said that she wanted to have a double date. Kiyotaka called Karuizawa later that night, asking for information on Sato.
She revealed she was wanted to be Student Council President by her brothers when she met Suzune. She received his phone after he dialed Manabu as proof. Having had an altercation with Ryuuen, Kiyotaka wanted to chat with him about the events leading up to that point.
As part of its responsibility for last night’s event, Class 1-D contributed to the former’s explanation. Kiyotaka also told Ryuuen that he wasn’t interested in climbing the class rankings. Since he wants to expel Kushida from ANHS once and for all, he will continue to observe Class 1-D’s ascent to 1-C.
On Christmas Day, Sato met Kiyotaka a little earlier than agreed, and Hirata and Karuizawa eventually joined them. After watching a movie, the four talked about their careers during lunch. Sato and Kiyotaka went to their rooms after Karuizawa and Hirata left.
He said he doesn’t smile a lot, which Sato was bothered by. However, he thought she was unworthy of a smile in his head. Kiyotaka rejected Sato’s declaration of love by stating that he could not feel affection for her and even considered himself immature in engaging in a romantic relationship with her.
In the aftermath of Sato’s departure, Kiyotaka called Kei out after observing everything from afar. In response to Karuizawa’s question about if Kiyotaka views every human being as a mere tool, Kiyotaka didn’t respond.
The gesture was reciprocated by Kiyotaka, who gave Karuizawa cold medicine in gratitude. The former walked away from Arisu Sakayanagi, who appeared out of the blue and revealed that the latter knew everything about him. Her promise to destroy Kiyotaka was met with Kiyotaka’s request to let her.

Originally, Classroom of the Elite was a light novel series written by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsake Tomose. Upon seeing its popularity, Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive began its serialization back in January 2016. The manga was illustrated by Yuyu Ichino.
Later on, in July 2017, Studio Lerche adapted the Light Novel series to an anime series that completed its first season.
