Andy and Kyle disguise themselves as census workers and hunt down one of the dolls that have a part of Chucky’s soul and destroy it. Andy has kept one doll head in a safe. He tells his sister that the last piece of Chucky’s soul is in Nica Pierce. Meanwhile, Ms. Fairchild gets arrested for the murders in their town. Devon, Lexy and Jake try to defend their teacher, but they also can’t reveal what they know about Charles Lee and Chucky.
Lexy mentions that Chucky is probably in her sister’s new doll that seems to have gone missing. Devon tells them about Andy Barclay, and his experience with Chucky in the 80s and they decide to reach out to him. Tiffany realizes that Nica had regained consciousness after she stabbed her in the leg and saw that she didn’t react.
Jake realizes that the person who had warned him about Chucky a few months ago was Andy and they’re able to get in touch with him. Junior tells Lexy about his mother being diagnosed with cancer. He’s upset with her for not being there for him lately and ends up breaking up with her.
Chucky kills Junior’s mother and her death is assumed to be a suicide. Junior lashes out at Jake when he implies that her death couldn’t have been a suicide. The trio try to capture Chucky as they set traps for him at Lexy’s place but he ends up escaping.
