Only a handful of things are more exhilarating than experiencing a beautifully animated anime film.
The integration of mythology and other supernatural elements has been a staple in these films, Child of Kamiari Month is about to bring just that.
While Studio Ghibli had been at the top of the anime film game for a long time, other noticeable studios have also risen up lately. Even in their absence, new creators like Makoto Shinkai and now LIDEN FILMS are here to take the crown.
The official website for Child of Kamiari Month has released two visuals for the upcoming original anime film. The movie is set to debut this fall.
Poster visual lifted

The first visual shows Kanna, Yasha, and Shiro running away from a wave created by the golden Ryujin dragon, while several pieces of land are floating in the sky.
The Torii gate and accompanying shrine are also among the floating islands.
The second visual shows Kanna looking up to a shrine situated on several rocks by the coast. The shrine is probably the one we see floating in the previous visual.
LIDEN FILMS had previously announced the cast for the Child of Kamiari Month along with a trailer.
There is something truly fascinating about Japanese folklore and mythology. As an outsider, there are few ways to discover anything of that realm.
While books are good, no medium brings them to life in a more exciting way than an anime film.
The film is based on the mythology of the old Izumo region (now Shimane prefecture) of Japan. Many media works tend to have a positive impact on the tourism of certain hidden regions of Japan.
While this will undoubtedly be an amazing film, let’s hope it has that positive impact on the region of Shimane, much like the Ghost of Tsushima.
