Now, he will get desperate to prove to the world that he is the real Chainsaw Man, something Hirofumi won’t let him do. Seeing how frustrated and angry he was by the end of the chapter; this is the only path he seems to be taking as of now.

In school, too, children talk about Chainsaw Man and praise him for his work. Back home, Nayuta talks about the church, but Denji tells her that it all won’t go on for long as he has decided not to turn into Chainsaw Man anymore. 

He likes the normal life that he is living right now, and nothing can beat that. Nayuta asks him if he really believes that nothing can beat normal life, this puts Denji into confusion. 

Denji later says to Pochita that their present life is like heaven. Despite that, he is thinking of an even greater heaven. He wants to be happy with what he has. 

While Nayuta is asleep, he watches television. On television, an old man argues with the Devil Hunter Club president saying that they are just children trying to be reckless and they should stop playing this game. 

In response, the president says that they are not playing games and have real combat experience. Every time they do something, inform the ministry in advance.

Going on, the man points out the “Chainsaw Man’s Teaching” crap that is going on and thinks that it is all fake. The president offers to talk to Chainsaw Man himself to confirm if all this is true. 

Denji gets anxious hearing this as he was not informed of anything like this. He thinks he will receive a call, but to his shock, a man claiming to be Chainsaw Man shows up on the show. 

He tells them that he got his powers in a fateful meeting with the Justice Devil. He tells the reason why he is fighting and hearing that Denji shouts in agony, yelling that all he is saying is wrong. 

Denji says that he doesn’t fight for a reason. He gets frustrated seeing the show. Nayuta wakes up hearing all the shouting. He starts crying, claiming that he is more Chainsaw Man than the guy on the television.

Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.

The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.

However, his pet devil, Pochita is killed on a mission. Denji wakes up to realize he and Pochita have become a single being, Chainsaw Man. If he does not want to get killed, he has to join the government and continue hunting demons.
