Your dedicated wait for the anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man will finally be rewarded this fall. This half-man, half-construction machinery superhero has won hearts all over the world, and MAPPA is making sure that no fan can escape the anime’s temptation.
Chainsaw Man is all set for its debut on October 11, 2022, and Crunchyroll will simulstream the 12-episode series outside Japan. MAPPA just held its world premiere live stream, and it has led to the unveiling of various interesting details of the series.
Though many teasers and short glimpses of the anime have been revealed so far, I can promise that this latest video will leave your mouth hanging open.
No more flashy and vague action scenes that will pump you up; rather, this time, the video hits us with the cold crisis that the characters face daily.
Denji, the protagonist, never got a normal teenage lifestyle. After being severely screwed over by adults, he joins the Public Safety Department, which is the least safe workplace. Killing devils is their way of earning a living. Best place for a teenager with unresolved trauma, huh?
Now any other anime would stick to one or two opening and ending theme songs, but MAPPA decided to be extra with 12 ending theme tracks. All of them are by renowned singers, and they have been listed below. The opening theme is “KICK BACK” by Kenshi Yonezu.

About Chainsaw Man
Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.
The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.
However, his pet devil, Pochita is killed on a mission. Denji wakes up to realize he and Pochita have become a single being, Chainsaw Man. If he does not want to get killed, he has to join the government and continue hunting demons.
