In episode 6 of “Chained Soldier”, the first half showed us the fight between Sahara and Shushu. It was a spectacular battle where both competitors were adept in close combat and had abilities that increased their physical capabilities. However, Sahara had a better ability, which brought the 6th division their victory, equalizing the score of the match.
Before the fight between Kyouka and Izumo started, Kyouka asked Nei to scout the surroundings. She spotted two humanoids, and shockingly, one of the humanoids saw through her ability and used telepathy to tell her that they should get ready for the war that was starting. Soon, a different humanoid attacked them with a lot of shuukis, and both of the divisions engaged in battle.

No, “Chained Soldier” is not on a break this week, and Episode 7 should be released as usual on the above-mentioned date.
2. Episode 7 Speculation
From what we saw in episode 6, Tenka Izumo seemed to be on a whole different level than anyone we have seen so far. She killed half of the enemy’s forces all alone. We still don’t know what her abilities are, but that doesn’t make her lose one bit of the hype she built up. In episode 7, she’ll be fighting the humanoid shuuki, and who knows, she might even win.
She’ll most likely need some help from Kyouka and Yuuki, but that makes it even more interesting. We’ll get to see the commanders fight together. We saw Yuuki’s new transformation as he accepted both Kyouka and Himari as his master. This brings the question of whether he still has any room for some new powers since Himari and Kyouka are the only ones able to become his master.
3. Recap of Episode 6
The fight between Shushu and Sahara started. Both of them specialize in hand-to-hand close combat while their abilities enhance their physical strength. Initially, they agreed on not using their abilities, but the two soon got bored and allowed the use of powers.
Shushu immediately grew in size, grabbed Sahara, and slammed her on the ground. Sahara also used her ability “Mad Sheep”, which increases her physical capabilities drastically depending on how long she uses the ability. The lower the time, the stronger she becomes.
She immediately started overpowering Shushu using her inhuman speed and strength. On the other hand, due to her large size, Shushu is pretty slow. Even against such a strong opponent, she refused to give up, mostly because she didn’t want to lose while Yukki was watching.
Shushu pushed past her limits and grew to a size where it became impossible for Sahara to dodge her. She body-slammed Sahara and knocked her unconscious. This is where the match ended, but not for Sahara. As a result of her being unconscious, the abilities killer instincts kicked in, and she knocked Shushu to the ground.
Now, the score was one-to-one, and it was time for the commanders to fight, but before that, Kyouka asked Nei to scout the surroundings using her ability quickly. What happened from that point was totally unexpected. She spotted two humanoids, and one of them could feel her presence even though she was just using her ability.
Before she could even warn the others about these invaders, a lot of shuuki came charging at them, along with a different humanoid. It broke the barrier they cast like it was a paper castle. A big fight broke out, and during that time, a brilliant idea came to Himari’s mind. She asked Kyouka to let her ride on Shuuki’s back along with her.
Kyouka agreed, and by accepting two masters at once, Yuuki’s wind and fire attributes merged together, making him a hundred times stronger and giving him new powers. He mimicked the energy blast his sister used last time and started annihilating all the shuuki.
On the other side, while Yachiho was struggling with the humanoid alone, Tenka Izumo came to join her. We got an insane visual of Izumo that made it clear how strong she is. She killed half of the shuukis present there all alone. Now it’s time for the commander’s showdown as she goes up against this humanoid shuuki.

Chained Soldier (Mato Seihei no Slave) is a manga series by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takemura.
Mysterious entrances to the ‘Mato’ dimension appeared, threatning humans by the arrival of monsters called Shuuki. Hope came in the form of Mato fruit that gave superpowers to women who formed a matriarchal government, throwing men at the bottom of the social ladder.
During such times, the protagonist Yuuki met Kyouka, chief of the Anti-Demon Corps’ Seventh squad who made him his slave.
The anime adaptation will air sometime in 2023.
