The following day, Danji comes to the amusement park, where government officials are also present. Takami reveals that they are here just for an inspection, and the team has misread the letter.

1. Episode 5 Preview & Speculation
Now that it has been revealed that the amusement park will not be demolished and Danji didn’t go anywhere, Danji will start training Yu-yu for the card championship from the next episode.
Honestly, it was pretty expected of Danji to be associated with cardfighting even after retiring. He is a passionate cardfighter, after all.
Episode 5 is titled ‘That’s CardFight Pro-Wrestling!!,’ indicating a pro-wrestling tournament in Episode 5. Yu-yu is currently too naive to participate in such a tournament, and Danji has already taken his retirement, raising the question who’s going to participate then?

3. Episode 4 Recap
The morning after Danji Momoyama announces his retirement, all of a sudden, and everyone is in shock. He further declares to train Yu-yu and make him into the number one card player.
Everyone misses Danji at a time like this. Tomari even calls him, but he does not answer.
Megumi goes to see Takami. She requests him to cancel the demolition project of the amusement park, to which Takami says that it’s not his jurisdiction to decide this. Megumi then leaves his office after hearing this.
In the following scene, Megumi builds a barricade to protect Wonder Hill, but it falls down after a while.
Megumi picks Yu-yu from his school and takes him to a scrap material place by her car. She seeks his help in building a barricade and asks him to visit the amusement park regularly.
On his way back, Yu-yu meets Danji who prepares a meal for everyone. Yu-yu asks Danji about his whereabouts when he was missing. Danji says that he was fishing all this while. Danji praises Yu-yu to tell his honest feelings and requests him not to do anything.
The following day, everyone meets at the amusement park to fight with government employees against demolition.
They throw water balloons at them as soon as they arrive. The government employees threaten to call the police just when Danji arrives with his giant tank.
Takami reveals that they are not here for demolition but just a simple inspection of the place. It seems like they misread the print. Danji invites Takami to play with Megumi and him, just like old times.
In the next scene, Danji clarifies that he is only retiring as a cardfighter, not leaving the team. Danji and other members of the team enjoy the night in the amusement park. The episode ends here.
