Danji lost in both the rounds making Tanahashi the winner of the match.
It is later revealed that Zakusa and Tomari have been dating this entire time.

1. Episode 6 Preview And Speculation
Episode 5 was definitely fun, though I kind of wish they actually finished the Cardfight with Yu-yu taking Danji’s place.
Jealous Megumi cheering for Danji from the crowd was the best. That scene was hilarious. I have never seen such a side of Megumi, who is usually quiet and focused.
I certainly didn’t expect Zakusa and Tomari to be dating this entire time. Also apparently, Episode 6 is Yu-yu Vs. Tohya.

Episode 6 of the Cardfight!! Vanguard: overDress (2021) anime, titled “Wonder Child”, has been released on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

3. Episode 5 Recap
Danji participates in the town’s Cardfight Pro-wrestler Association and announces this to his teammates.
He further tells them how an old man asked him to continue his legacy and participate in the Association. For this, Danji and Yu-yu start their training from the following day.
Danji is shocked to see that his opponent is Hiroshi Tanahashi, a super big-league wrestler. On knowing this, Megumi asks Danji to step down, but he doesn’t.
On the other hand, Zakusa says something to Tanahashi in his ears after which he challenges Danji for a Cardfight pro-wrestling deathmatch. The match between Danji and Tanahashi starts after both write down their oaths.
Danji puts on the mask that he received from the old man. Danji gets too intense into the game and loses track. Hence Tanahashi becomes the winner of round 1. After running into each other, the second phase of round 2 starts.
Even after getting deadly beaten, Danji is still motivated to fight and stands on his legs. This impresses Tanahashi, who again comes out as the winner of round 2.
