Can You Play Elden Ring Nightreign Solo?
Yes, you can play Elden Ring Nightreign solo.
Although playing in a team is recommended, it doesn’t mean that you cannot venture into the darkness on your own. Apart from solo mode, there is a co-op option which requires a party of three.
How Matchmaking Works in Elden Ring Nightreign?
Sadly, Elden Ring Nightreign does not support crossplay. So, you need to ensure that your team members are on the same platform. This greatly restricts one’s options but it is the way it is.
There is a common hub called the Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring Nightreign which acts like an interaction ground. You can explore several functions by interacting with different objects here.
To begin matchmaking, you just need to interact with the Table of Lost Grace. It shouldn’t be easy to miss thanks to its vicious appearance. Look for the massive round table emitting a golden glow at the centre of the room.
The table will open up a menu with different options. If you want to start a game, first, select your Target (final boss) then choose to start matchmaking.
While the Closed Network Test only features one Target, the final game will have plenty of options to choose from.
The Roundtable Hold is also the place to test out weapons in Elden Ring Nightreign.
How To Play Elden Ring Nightreign With Friends?
Matchmaking in Elden Ring Nightreign is still incomplete. The system does not have a way to invite your friends to your squad like other games. However, there is a way around this.
To ensure you are not paired up with strangers, you need to set up a matchmaking password. It can be done by interacting with the Table of Lost Grace. Once you have done so, share the password with your friends and connect together.
It is uncertain why the developers missed out on this important feature. However, the matchmaking is not completely random so we can’t complain too much.
