Can Jackie Welles Be Saved In Cyberpunk 2077?

Cyberpunk 2077 is a role-playing game that presents itself with many complications. What shape the story will take depends entirely on your decisions. One such difficulty that the game will present is regarding Jackie Welles. 

Jackie Welles is one of the most loved characters of the game. He is the first character you will encounter in the RPG.

 During “The Heist” quest, Jackie will be gravely injured and breathing his last breath. Seeing him gasping for life makes everyone wonder if he can be saved?

Can Jackie Welles avoid death? 

Jackie Welles cannot avoid death in Cyberpunk 2077. He sustained heavy injuries during “The Heist” quest. It doesn’t matter what decision you make next as nothing can keep the beloved character alive.

The game will make you choose between three choices. Each choice will reflect your judgment in this grave matter. But no matter what decision you go ahead with, Jackie will kick the bucket. It’s beyond your reach to save Jackie in Cyberpunk 2077.

Where To send Jackie Welles’ body In Cyberpunk 2077?

Facing all sorts of challenges while playing as V, you will somehow leave the quest arena to protect Jackie. During all this, Jackie will die and all you can decide is where to send his corpse.

Delamain, Car’s AI will ask you your decision regarding this matter.

Following are the choices that you will have to choose from:

• A) Nowhere. Wait for me here.
• B) Take him home, to his family.
• C) Take him to Vik Vektor’s clinic.
• D) Just… give me a minute. (This will basically give you time to think and not impact the story)

The consequence of each choice:

• Nowhere. Wait for me here:

This choice option will make V tell Delamain to sit tight and wait for him in the same location. But given the obstacles, V will never be able to go back to the car. Therefore, Jackie will get no funeral.

• Take Him Home, to His Family:

Here you will instruct Delamain to take Jackie’s corpse home to his family. Later, Jackie’s mother will call you. She will be grateful to you for bringing his body back home so that his loved ones could say a final goodbye. 

You’ll also discuss funeral plans with her and be invited to pay your homage to your Jackie one last time.

• Take Him to Vik Vektor’s Clinic:

Given that Jackie lying unconsciously, you may decide to take him to Vik’s clinic. After all, no mother should ever see her son in this condition, right? Therefore, Delamian will take Jackie to the clinic.

However, when you visit Vik’s clinic to take the remains of Jackie, Vik will tell you that Arasaka men got hold of his body. As a result, you won’t be able to see him, let alone give him a funeral.

Worst of all, Jackie’s mum wouldn’t be happy as she never got to say goodbye to her son.
