In episode 7 of Call of the Night, Yamori accidentally encounters a girl who seems interested in him while walking around the city at night.

Nazuna tries to stop her, but she is a vampire who kidnaps him with her friend. It didn’t occur to me that Nazuna would rip Seri’s arm off when she was rushing to stop her.

I wonder if all vampires have the same strength or if each vampire has a different ability since Seri mentioned that Nazuna has a lot of brute force. As well as loling at Nazuna’s complete disabled state when hearing Ko’s declaration that he loves her

Episode 8 Speculation

By the end of episode 7, according to Kou, he wants to be a vampire regardless of how long it takes. Everyone present over there was shocked by this statement. Although Kou is eager to become a vampire, he is unaware of the limitations that come with it.

The restlessness in Kou reveals his desire to be with Nazuna all the time, which explains why he acts this way. Kou’s wish will hopefully be fulfilled in the upcoming episode when Nazuna takes him seriously and turns him into a vampire.

Episode 7 Recap

During the night, Yamori strolls through town, bored by his mundane life, when a girl across the street catches his attention. She quickly turns him down when he notices someone approaching her. She waves her hands to greet him when she sees that Yamori is looking at him.

A few moments later, Yamori is startled when she appears next to him unexpectedly. His type is not the stranger, she tells him. To escape her boring life, she usually spends the night with random strangers she meets on the street.

It is quite a dangerous way to live one’s life, according to Yamori. In the course of his pursuit, she steals Yamori’s can of coke while he is just about to leave.

She tells him after a while that she drank everything when he asks her to return the can. When she tells Yamori why she walks around at night, he feels she is just like him. Since he was in the same situation a few days ago, he tells her it is okay to have conflicting thoughts.

Trying to drink his blood, she immediately hugs him, but Nazuna stops her and even cuts her arm. Nazuna has a surprisingly close relationship with the girl, who turns out to be a vampire. Yamori is restrained from behind by another vampire while they are fighting.

Kabura Honda takes Yamori to a remote location where other vampires await him once Yamori is kidnapped. In addition to being well-dressed and looking good, all women seem good-looking, and no one would suspect that they were vampires.

However, Nico doesn’t think Yamori is cute, while Kabura believes he is. Having no time to waste, Nico asks Yamori which of the two he wants to become a vampire. She mentions that they will have to kill him if he refuses to pick someone.

Despite thinking there are many beautiful vampires, Yamori doesn’t hesitate to declare that Nazuna is the only one he wants. By letting Yamori choose one of them, Nico feels she is doing him a favor. She bursts out in anger.

Since vampires are popular there, she cannot comprehend why Yamori would still want to be with someone like Nazuna, who does not seem to be into romance.

Picking Nazuna seems like a terrible choice since a person must fall in love with a vampire before he can become one. After a few moments of hesitation, she offers him a seat next to her and shows him a little more patience.

One of Nico’s opponents, Midori, knows what she is doing. Consequently, Midori argues Nico doesn’t prefer virgins in general. As a result, she thinks Yamori would be better off with her if he chose her. Nico and Midori dominate the debate between the vampires, which begins with well-thought-out arguments.

Yamori’s decision to return to Nazuna is not affected much by any arguments. After arriving there in a very aggressive mood, she is greeted by her friend.

Just then, Yamori tells the others to fall in love with Nazuna to become vampires. Nazuna and Yamori had formed a pact in the days following their first meeting, which Yamori explains later.

Call of the Night manga by Kotoyama was first published in the Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in 2019. The series will receive an anime adaptation in July 2022.

The series’ plot focuses on Ko Yamori, a human, and Nazuna, a laid-back and free-spirited vampire. After Ko discovers Nazuna’s nature, he wants to become a vampire too.

Yet, the only way to turn into a vampire is by falling in love with one.
