Episode 1 of Call of the Night is scheduled to be aired this week.

The story focuses on a young boy named Kou Yomori. It shows how he struggles to sleep and is dissatisfied with everyday life. While sleepless one night, he sneaked out of the house to go for a night’s walk. As Kou returned home, he came across a young girl named Nazuna.

As it turns out, Nazuna is a vampire who enjoys wandering around at night. Immediately, she becomes friends with Kou because of her flirtatious personality. Through his night walk with her, Kou discovered joy and peace.

Now he wants to become a vampire-like Nazuna because he enjoys it so much. He will only be able to do that if he falls in love with Nazuna. It will be interesting to see if they grow closer together or remain ‘just friends.’

Episode 1 Speculation and Discussion

Kou will wander the streets because of insomnia in episode 1 of Call of the Night. During his nighttime wandering, he is bound to encounter Nazuna as well. Kou will later find out that Nazuna is a vampire, but this information will not impact him.

Instead, the two will begin to hang out more. Kou will soon ask Nazuna to change him into a vampire, but no human can become a vampire without first falling in love with her. This first episode will feature many of these visuals.

Call of the Night manga by Kotoyama was first published in the Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in 2019. The series will receive an anime adaptation in July 2022.

The series’ plot focuses on Ko Yamori, a human, and Nazuna, a laid-back and free-spirited vampire. After Ko discovers Nazuna’s nature, he wants to become a vampire too.

Yet, the only way to turn into a vampire is by falling in love with one.
